The Photographer
Max Hug Williams (30) took up nature photography
10 years ago to document his travels, which have
now taken him to over 40 countries in six continents.
Having completed a degree in Zoology,
he pursued his interest in natural history by going
on to do a Master Degree in Behavioural Ecology.
Since then he has been working in wildlife programing and his footage has been broadcast on the BBC, ITV, Animal planet, Discovery Channel, Sky One, C5 and WNET. His travels have taken him to Africa on
several occasions, visiting Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda,
Uganda, Mauritania, Eygpt, South Africa, Cameroon, Congo & Botswana.
The main galleries of this site focus on African
habitats, but other continents will follow shortly.
All shots are of wild animals in their
natural habitat or in rehabilitation centres in
the country of origin. Images have been adjusted
for colour/contrast and in some instances cropped
for effect, but not digitally altered in any other
way.
